Saving Markups
Markups save automatically. They persist across sessions and appear in reports and client share views.

Auto-save
As you draw, move, or delete annotations, Vortyk saves each change in real time. Close the editor, navigate away, or shut your browser. Your markups are preserved exactly as you left them.
Persistence across sessions
Open a photo days or weeks later and your annotations are still there. Markups are stored with the photo permanently until you choose to remove them.
Unlimited annotations
There is no limit on how many annotations you can add to a single photo. Add as many shapes, arrows, text labels, and lines as you need to document your observations.
Markups in reports
When you generate a PDF report, annotated photos include all their markups. Your client sees the marked-up version of every photo. Arrows, circles, text labels, and all.
This means you annotate once and the markups carry through to every output: the photo viewer, the generated report, and the client share link.
Markups in shared views
Clients who access your project through a share link see the annotated versions of your photos. They see exactly what you see, including all markups.
Removing markups
To remove an annotation, switch to the Selection tool (press V), click the annotation, and delete it. Use Ctrl+Z to undo recent changes if needed.
