What is Vortyk?
Vortyk is a field photo documentation and reporting platform for inspectors, construction teams, and field service crews. Photos taken on a phone or tablet upload with their GPS coordinates, timestamp, and camera bearing read automatically from the image, so every picture records where and when it was taken without manual entry. Photos organize into projects for each site and surveys for each visit, take captions of up to 150 characters, and can be marked up with six drawing tools in five colors to point at what matters. A finished photo log exports as a PDF at one or two photos per page carrying captions, coordinates, and date and time for every image, along with your name, company, and email. Clients open it through a password protected link with an expiration date, browse the photos on a map, and download the report without installing an app or creating an account.

Before you join
- When does Vortyk launch?
- Vortyk is in final development and launching soon. Waitlist members are first in line for early access, and you will hear from us by email before general availability. Joining the waitlist costs nothing and does not commit you to a plan.
- What will it cost?
- Pro is $49 a month for a single user with unlimited projects and surveys, 200 photos per survey, and 30 GB of storage. Enterprise is $59 per user per month and adds organizations, shared projects, SSO, and white-label reports. Extra storage is available in bundles from 50 GB to 2 TB. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial at launch, which requires a credit card, and you can cancel any time before the trial ends without being charged.
- What devices does it work on?
- Capture happens on iPhone and iPad, and the rest of Vortyk runs in any modern browser. Photos can be taken offline and uploaded once you are back in range, which matters on remote sites, rural routes, and underground work. Supported formats are JPEG, PNG, HEIC, and WebP at up to 20 MB per file.
- Who owns the data I upload?
- You do. Photos and reports are yours and can be exported at any time. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is enforced at the database level so you only ever see your own projects, and photo and report links are signed with a one-hour expiry.
