Project Status
Track your projects with Active, Completed, and Archived statuses. Keep your workspace organized as your project list grows.

The three statuses
Active
The default status for new projects. Active projects represent current, ongoing work. They appear in your default project list and dashboard.
Use for: Projects you are currently working on or expect to return to soon.
Completed
Mark a project as Completed when the work is done and delivered. Completed projects remain accessible and searchable, but they signal that no further field work is expected.
Use for: Finished inspections, delivered reports, closed-out job sites.
Archived
Archived projects are hidden from your default project list view. They still exist in your account and you can find them by filtering, but they stay out of your way during day-to-day work.
Use for: Old projects you no longer need to reference regularly. Historical records you want to keep but not see.
Changing a project's status
- Open the project.
- Go to project settings.
- Select the new status from the status dropdown.
- The change takes effect immediately.
You can move a project between any status at any time. Archiving a project does not delete any data.
Filtering by status
On your projects list, use the status filter to narrow your view:
- All. Shows every project regardless of status
- Active. Shows only active projects (default view)
- Completed. Shows only completed projects
- Archived. Shows only archived projects
This is especially useful when you have dozens or hundreds of projects. Filter to Active to focus on current work, or switch to Completed to find a past project for reference.
Recommended workflow
- Create a project. It starts as Active.
- Do your field work, upload photos, generate reports, share with the client.
- When the job is done and reports are delivered, mark it Completed.
- After a few months, if you no longer need quick access, move it to Archived.
This keeps your active list clean without losing any data.
