How it works
When you create a project and assign it a location, Vortyk plots it on the project map. The location comes from the address you enter during project creation (powered by Google Places autocomplete).
Open the project map from your dashboard to see every active project at a glance.
Navigating the map
- Click any project marker to see the project name and summary
- Click through to open the project and view its surveys, photos, and reports
- Zoom in to see projects in a specific region
- Zoom out to see your full portfolio across cities, states, or countries
When to use the project map
- Managing multiple job sites. Quickly identify which projects are in a given area
- Planning site visits. See nearby projects to batch your field visits efficiently
- Portfolio overview. Get a visual sense of your geographic reach
Tips
- Assign accurate addresses to your projects so they appear in the correct map location.
- Projects without a location will not appear on the map. You can add or update a project's location at any time from the project settings.
